There has been such a huge response to our exclusive partnership with NuVu - the world’s leading innovation school - that the Swarm Robotics Studio is now fully booked.

NuVu Collaboration

Kelvinside Academy has secured an exclusive partnership with NuVu - the world’s leading innovation school.  This collaboration gives our pupils the chance to attend a choice of unique design and technology camps between 24-28 July 2017, which will be led by leading academics and designers from the likes of Harvard and MIT. 

This Summer, the NuVu theme is “Human++” and they are exploring the combined intelligence of humans and machines to solve big problems!  Two of their summer studio programmes are coming to Kelvinside Academy.

Homestay 

The KA Homestay network extends the opportunity of a Kelvinside education to international pupils aged 16-18 years. Our Homestay families welcome international pupils into their home and their family during term time, providing a safe and welcoming ‘home from home’ environment to support your child during their time at Kelvinside. We offer guardianship through our Homestay partner ‘Academic Families’, who support international pupils to ensure their Scottish school days are happy and successful.

University Poster Girl
10 April 2017


Rachael Scott (2014) is featuring on the #thisbucsgirl sports campaign for Glasgow University. Rachael was KA’s first ever Rowing Captain and earned her 3rd international cap coxing the Scottish Senior Women's squad to victory at the Home International Regatta in Cardiff in July 2016. She earned her first two while still at school and is now in her 3rd year of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Glasgow

British Schools Winner
27 March 2017

It was a big weekend for Lily Evans Haggerty (S2) who followed up all her recent athletics successes to win the U15 British School Cross Country International in Port Talbot. She was running against the UK's top junior athletes and put in a brilliant performance to win by 6 seconds. Lily is the first Scot to ever win this U15 championship.
