The KA Junior School Football Team recently took part in Partick Thistle's Centenary Primary Schools' Football Tournament. The team had many friends and family supporting them and this support paid off as they beat Park View Primary School 2-1 to win the Tournament. The team certainly saved their best to last! Jack Ruddy and Lewis Faulds (both of SPL) scored in the final.
The win was a remarkable achievement, having only had 6 weeks of expert coaching from Ian McCall, Partick Thistle Manager. Man of the match was undoubtedly Jack Ruddy. He displayed excellent football skills and talent. Although he played in centre midfield he scored 4 goals and was denied 3 more by the woodwork. The story is only half told by the goals as the rest of the team put in great performances as individuals and as a team.
