The organ at Kelvingrove Art Galleries is being fixed at the moment and the music department was approached to see if we would like to send some musicians to perform at their lunchtime concerts. It seemed too good a chance to miss and as many pupils had just sat their practical SQA exams they were all set to perform their pieces. On the first Thursday a group of singers performed various vocal works from show songs to arias while the second week a varied group of instrumentalists performed on the flute, saxophone, piano, and volin to mention just a few. The very intimate atmosphere of the gallery where we performed made it a very enjoyable experience for the pupils and their audiences.

On Monday 30th March the School's CCF (RAF Section) invited the Cadets from Air Training Corps Squadron, 1333 (Grangemouth) to attend a fieldcraft day on Craigengillan Estate in Ayrshire.
The day was a huge success and the feedback Flight Officer Tom McMorrow received from his Cadets was extremely positive; they had a marvellous day, met many new friends; and learned a great deal.
The day was so enjoyable that the ATC have offered to return the favour, by organising a trip on which Kelvinside Cadets can join them. The RAF section looks forward to continuing this exciting new partnership.
