During the expedition all pupils participated in three main activities; scrambling up Tryfan to the twin summit blocks of Adam & Eve; kayaking in Llyn Padarn and the Irish Sea plus climbing on the centre's very well designed climbing wall.

A great time was had by all and the variety of the activities meant there was never a dull moment.

Hockey Win
kings school hockey.jpg On Saturday 24th October the 1st XI played Kings School from Tynemouth.  We scored within the first minute of the game through Elish Anderson and this set a precedent for what was about to happen.  The goals went in thick and fast, Captain Nikki McLucas scoring 3 and Elish adding another one to her tally, the final score was 7-0.

Their coach was particularly impressed with Jenny Morris and jokingly asked if she glued the ball to her stick because her skills were so good.  The future is looking bright for hockey ay Kelvinside Academy.

Junior 6 Hike
p1140272.jpg p1010866.jpg p1010862.jpg Junior 6 had a fantastic day on Sunday 25th October when they hiked to the top of Conic Hill, Balmaha.  It was the perfect time to hone those map reading skills.  Unfortunately the weather was not on their side but luckily everyone came prepared for the weather and had a great time.
