      Junior School pupils had a 'spooktacular' time at the Halloween parties on Friday 30th October. Everyone looked amazing and had a spine-tingling time!

 The Kelvinside Academy 2010 Calendar was launched on Wednesday 4th November before an audience of the artists, family and friends. All artwork featured in the calendar was created by pupils of the school.
The calendar was launched by Kate Robinson who studied sculpture at Glasgow School of Art followed by a PhD at Glasgow University. She is widely exhibited and winner of numerous artistic awards. Her work is held in many private and public collections including the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow Museums and Art Gallery, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and the National Seminary for Scotland. The evening was a resounding success.

 A group of talented KA pupils attended an orchestral Play Away Day with the Scottish Schools Orchestra Trust on Sunday 1st November. Play Away Days give pupils a chance to develop their experience and meet up with new friends with similar interests. It was an inspiring and enjoyable day for all.
