Canoeing the Great Glen
summer canoe expedition - 09 035.jpg summer canoe expedition - 09 029.jpg The Kelvinside Academy Canoe Club has recently returned from this year's summer canoe expedition.  The aim of the expedition was to paddle the full length of the Great Glen, 96km long, in open canoes.  The journey was from Fort William to Inverness which included journeying through the Caledonian Canal, Loch Ness and the various rivers where much fun was enjoyed tackling the standing waves and rapids.
