| Poppies and Pumpkins |

  Junior 2 have had an extremely busy few weeks. They had a pumpkin exploration where they had to investigate ways to tell the number of seeds in a pumpkin without looking inside. This was a very mathematical and messy afternoon!Junior 2 were also learning about Remembrance Day. They chose a soldier's name from the Kelvinside Academy War Memorial and laid a poppy wreath in honour of the soldier they had chosen. The boys and girls made their own poppies to wear at the Remembrance Day Service, Mr Dickenson and Mrs Lindsay were delighted as the class also made poppies for them. Junior 1 were also busy painting giant poppies. |
