The Junior 4 pupils thought it would be a good idea to plant a tree to commemorate the 2012 Olympic Games. They wrote to Dobbies in Milngavie to ask if they could help. They kindly agreed to supply us with a tree of our choice. One child from each class in the Junior School and Senior Prep were chosen to help select the tree. We had a good look around at the trees and got some expert advice. We finally selected a Rowan tree as we felt it would be interesting to watch all year round. Look out for it being planted in our new eco-garden in the corner of the school grounds closest to the Nursery.
