Fee Information
We are conscious of the high cost of independent education to parents, but we believe that we provide exceptional value for money through our small class sizes and highly skilled teaching staff. The Board of Governors, many of whom are parents of children at the school, make every effort to limit fee increases to the minimum necessary in order to maintain the high quality of education provided by Kelvinside Academy.

When three children from one family attend the School parents may apply for a means tested discount of up to 25% of the tuition fee.  This also applies to subsequent children.

Payment

School Fees are payable by monthly direct debit over 10 months from 1st September. For existing parents, and by agreement with the Bursar, fees are payable on the first day of each term by direct debit, cheque or credit card (a 2% charge will be added to the amount being paid for the use of the credit card facility).

Withdrawals

A  full term’s notice of withdrawal from the school or withdrawal from school lunches, music or any extra tuition classes must be given in writing otherwise a full term's fees will be charged in lieu of notice.

Arrears

Failure to pay by the due date will result in interest being charged at 2% per month and added to the fee. If fees remain outstanding legal action may be taken and the Board of Governors reserve the right to request parents to withdraw their children from the school until such time as all fees are paid.
