Why we need your help

Kelvinside Academy’s distinctive appeal lies in the all-through, all-round education it offers on a single site to a relatively small number of boys and girls in small classes. Coherence and continuity underpin a pupil’s progression, with balanced attention to fulfilling academic potential, teaching key skills, providing opportunities in the sporting and cultural fields and offering a wide range of extra curricular activies.

Continuous development of facilities is essential to the evolution of the high quality education offered at KA.

Since 2004, we’ve seen the opening of the Kennedy Mall, The Gilchrist Theatre and the all-weather pitch at Balgray. These tremendous additions to our facilities, of wide-ranging benefit to the local community too, have been funded partly from income and partly through the generosity of parents, pupils, Academicals and friends of Kelvinside Academy.

With our commitment to small classes, our income stream is finite, hence we require to fundraise to help us complete major capital projects.
