Bursaries Print E-mail
The KA Foundation exists to provide bursaries for:
  • Pupils of potential new to the School who are unable to afford full fees, and
  • Pupils already in the School whose personal circumstances change.

Whilst any financial surplus in the School’s accounts is properly invested in the School’s educational facilities and resources, a proportion of this, annually, is transferred into the KA Foundation for provision of Bursaries.

Those who know Kelvinside Academy appreciate the very special nature of the KA educational experience, the wonderful start in life that a KA education provides.

We invite Academicals, Parents past and present, and Friends of KA to help fund opportunities for boys and girls at Kelvinside Academy.

A contribution to the KA Foundation might take the form of:

A one-off gift
or
A modest monthly standing order
or
A Legacy in a will

Larger contributions can be designated separately with criteria for an award defined e.g. The Warden Bursary which is currently available.

Alternatively, companies or businesses or individuals might consider the option of sponsoring a child or children through a stage or stages of the School. e.g. 50% fees for one child through Senior School.

Whatever the option exercised,

  • all contributors will be publicly acknowledged (unless anonymity is requested)
  • all contributors will be advised on tax efficient ways of giving.

Together, KA and the Friends of KA are investing in the future, funding opportunities for boys and girls of potential.

The more generous you are, the more others will benefit from a KA experience.
