Outdoor Education is an integral part of the curriculum, beginning in the Nursery and continuing through the Junior School to the Senior School. From a young age, pupils explore the natural world and experience new challenges. As they progress, the mountains, lochs and coastline of Scotland offer opportunities for adventure and discovery.
The school has its own Outdoor Education Instructor and the programme of climbing, canoeing, mountain biking and hill-walking runs throughout the year. In addition, there are summer expeditions not only in Scotland but also in recent years to the Pyrenees, Corsica and the 24 hour conquest of Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in the Three Peaks Challenge.
