It was a fantastic day at School last Friday for members of the classes of 1956, 1966, 1976, 1986 and 1996.  The tours included the old gym, Mirrlees, the Senior 6 Centre and they were the first of our Academicals to see the new and very impressive Fraser Library.  Everyone then went to Balgray for an early supper and then off the Byres Road to reminisce further!

Sporting Lunch
06 October 2016

A great day at Balgray on Saturday 1 October in memory of former Groundsman, David Boyd and Jack Smart (1975).

David Boyd sadly passed away in July this year and there was a naming ceremony and a minutes silence prior to the game commencing. David worked at the School for over 44 years and has looked after a vast number of Pupils and Academicals. The new David Boyd Sports Pavilion was opened by Chairman Donald Wilson (1980) and the 1st XV had a great win against the High School of Glasgow – final score 19-8.
